PowerPoint Presentations

Use of PowerPoint is strongly recommended for the Conference.  Keep it simple – and large.  Please use font sizes of at least 28 points.  Visual aids used in your PowerPoint should not duplicate the spoken information, but should be used to visually strengthen your presentation.

We ask all speakers to use the IWA Conference Introductory Slide at the start of your PowerPoint presentation to create consistency among all speaker at the conference.

The IWA Conference Introductory Slide can be found here.

PowerPoint presentations must be uploaded to the WateReuse FTP site no later than July 10, 2017.   When uploading your presentation to the FTP site, please save your file with your Name and Session Number.

International System of Units (SI Units)

We encourage all speakers to use the International System of Units (SI Units) in all written and PowerPoint materials for the 11th IWA International Conference.   By adhering to this commonly agreed set of International Units, it will provide comprehension, reliability and consistency across the board and will help us avoid the potential for confusion using different units of measurements.

Please use the Discussion Paper published in the WRSG Newsletter, describing the practical use of the International System of Units, for your reference when preparing your Technical Papers and PowerPoint Presentations.
